Tooth-colored fillings are more natural in color and appearance than traditional silver amalgam fillings. They offer 85-95% of the strength of the original tooth and can be applied in one visit.

Tooth-colored fillings are bonded to the tooth through a bonding chemical process. Numbing is sometimes not needed, and the process is non-invasive, comfortable and fast. In cases of significant decay, local anesthesia may be necessary as the tooth is cleaned out. The filling is applied and shaped to look natural and then hardened with a curing light.
